This soft braided ribbon is easy to use and is extremely versatile. Its unique gives it great pliability and reduces twisting associated with other products. Use it for fabrics & canvases with basic stitches or elaborate needle art. Ribbonfloss works beautifully in silk ribbon embroidery techniques, punch needles, smocking, crochet, knitting, & decorative serging.
Special Instructions For Hand Embroidery
1. Use relatively short lengths to minimize wear
2. Keep needle eye at the same spot on the ribbon while stitching.
3. Secure ends by piercing the ribbon in back several times or running it behind a number of stitches in back and reversing the run to lock.
4. Experiment with various stitches, Sometimes longer stitches better show the beauty and texture that is characteristic of ribbonfloss.
5. If it becomes creased, simply dampen your finger with clear cold water to smooth out the crease.
6. Cold water washable and dry cleanable.
